Locking a Module or Adding Module Prerequisites/Requirements

Instructors have multiple options in module settings that lock the module or add some type of requirement for module completion. The link with each option provides detailed instructions.

  1. Lock a module from student access until a given date. Note: When locked, students can see the module title and individual items, but cannot access the module content. This is a more effective option than using the publish/unpublish module feature. How do I lock a module? 
  2. Requiring a student to complete one or more items before a module is marked complete. How do I add requirements to a Module?
  3. Requiring a student to move through a module in sequential order. How do I require students to move through each Module item in order?
  4. Requiring a student to complete certain prerequisites (e.g. the previous module) before progressing to the next module. How do I set up prerequisite Modules?
