Healthcare for Google/YouTube
Garth Graham is a cardiologist, researcher and public health expert who serves as the director and global head of healthcare at Google/YouTube. He previously served in two U.S.administrations as U.S.deputy assistant secretary for health and was assistant dean for health policy and chief of health services research in the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida School of Medicine.
An elected member of the National Academy of Medicine, Garth obtained his MD at Yale University School of Medicine, MPH at Yale School of Public Health, Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Cardiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins.

A Black History Month Celebration!
HSC in Fort Worth will host the Black Men in White Coats Youth Summit in celebration of Black History Month and invites elementary school to college students, parents, health care professionals, and educators to participate in an engaging and interactive day.
The Black Men in White Coats initiative aims to increase the number of black men and boys considering a career in medicine. The Black Men in White Coats Youth Summits occur in cities across the country as a platform to provide underrepresented minority youth and college students with exposure to the medical field. The goal of the summit is to inspire our youth and college students to consider careers in health care while laying the foundation for success via mentorship and networking.
Elementary and middle school students will participate in activities such as mini medical school and do activities in the osteology and anatomy labs. High school and undergraduate students will learn more about careers in health care and participate in clinical activities such as suturing and intubation in our state-of-the-art simulation lab.
In addition to interactive activities, the event will include dynamic speakers such as the founder of Black Men in White Coats, Dr. Dale Okorodudu, and the esteemed Director and Global Head of Healthcare for Google/YouTube, Dr. Garth Graham. A panel will also feature current health science doctoral students, physicians, researchers, and other health professionals.
