Final Disposition Options

Once our studies are complete, a cremation will be performed. The family will have the following three options.

Returned to Family

Family my choose to have the urn returned to them via US Express Mail or pick up at UNTHSC.

Burial at Sea

We will coordinate the disposition of the ashes in the Gulf of Mexico.

Burials at sea are conducted with a third-party company and our staff. Families are not permitted, but may provide a prayer or poem they would like read at the ceremony.

Veteran’s Burial

For qualifying Veterans, we will coordinate an interment in the DFW National Cemetery, or a National Cemetery of your choice.

The National Cemetery provides military honors at the service and a headstone for the Veteran and spouse.
