The MedStar Mobile Healthcare team is comprised of 3 organizations: MedStar, Alzheimer’s Association, and HSC SaferCare Texas.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Integrathing the 4Ms: Age-Friendly EMS

Purpose:

• Develop Age–Friendly Health System Model which will provide infrastructure within MedStar Mobile Healthcare to become the first Age–Friendly EMS System in the country.
• Empower MedStar to reliably provide the four evidence–based elements of high–quality, known as the “4Ms,”to all older adult’s carethrough their health system practices.
• When implemented together, the “4Ms” will improve the care (satisfaction & outcomes) provided to meet the needs of older adults.
