Former MedSci Research Track students had three manuscripts accepted for publication in the Anatomical Record.

The students are Lila Huston (PI-Lauren Gonzales), Tooba Husain (PI-Rachel Menegaz), and Jacob Moore (PI-Emma Handler, now at U of Iowa Health Care).

This was part of a collaborative project that was funded during the first round of seed grants offered by the Physiology and Anatomy department. It looked at the effects of osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease) on skull development (Menegaz-Husain), the ear and hearing (Gonzales-Huston) and dental development (Handler-Moore).

All of the students presented at the American Association for Anatomy meetings with two of the students being nominated for the Langman Graduate Student Platform presentation award (Huston and Husain), and one student actually winning (Husain).
