CBTS celebrates faculty promotions

The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth recently announced promotions for seven College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences faculty members.
Please join us in congratulating the faculty members who received promotions:
- Rance Berg, PhD, promoted to professor
- Michael Coble, PhD, promoted to professor
- Harlan Jones, PhD, promoted to professor with continued tenure status
- Nicole Phillips, PhD, promoted to associate professor with tenure
- Caroline Rickards, PhD, promoted to professor with continued tenure status
- Dorota Stankowska, PhD, promoted to associate professor with tenure
- Roxanne Zascavage, PhD, promoted to associate professor
“Our outstanding faculty are the backbone of our academic programs and our research endeavors, and these seven faculty members represent the very best of the College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences.” said Dr. Dimitrios Karamichos, interim dean of the College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences. “I congratulate them on their remarkable accomplishments and applaud their dedication to their fields, to our students and to our university.”
In addition to the recent promotions, the UNT System Board of Regents approved tenure for Drs. Phillips and Stankowska at their meeting on May 16.
“I congratulate Dr. Phillips and Dr. Stankowska on reaching this incredible milestone,” Dr. Karamichos said. “I have no doubt they will both continue to make remarkable contributions to CBTS and HSC.”
