PA admin honored by Association for Healthcare Administrative Professionals

Physician Assistant Studies’ business coordinator Kim Williams was recently honored by the Association for Healthcare Administrative Professionals at an award ceremony in June for chairing and co-chairing two major professional events. During her tenure, she has planned both virtual and in-person conferences.
“Kim has worked to advocate for her profession and encouraged others to seek resources and training through the professional organization,” said PA Lauren Dobbs, chair of The University of North Texas Health Science Center’s Physician Assistant Studies program. “She has always sought ways to better herself and the department.”
Williams has served HSC for 17 years. Her award reads: “In Appreciation for Outstanding Service as Chair of the AHCAP Conferences.” She chaired the 2023 Virtual Education Conference in June 2023 and the 2024 Education Conference in St. Louis in June 2024.
“Kim is always willing and ready to help as needed when planning the conferences and leads the committees with grace. AHCAP celebrates Kim and her dedication to her professional association,” said Sarah Saar, president of the AHCAP.
