Assistant Professor
Bobbie Bratton is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 27 years of nursing experience, including more than 20 years of advanced practice. She was recently appointed to lead interprofessional education for the College of Nursing.
Bratton has a diverse clinical background including family practice, occupational health, student health, ICU and acute care, surgery and ambulatory clinic management. As a Certified Professional in Patient Safety, she served as a clinical executive with SaferCare Texas, home of HSC’s patient safety organization and community initiatives for safety and quality in healthcare.
Born and raised in the Fort Worth area, she completed her associate degree in nursing at Tarrant County College, followed by her BSN and MSN at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is currently working towards her Doctor of Nursing Practice Education at Arkansas State University.
