Associate Professor

Bruce is an experienced educator with a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Education. He has 11 years of teaching experience in traditional BSN, second degree/accelerated BSN, RN-BSN online, and graduate MSN education. He is a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) who demonstrates expertise in all three pillars of effective teaching: instruction, curriculum development, and evidence-based evaluation. Demonstrating expertise in mental health support, Bruce is certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid, SafeSide Suicide Prevention, and Opioid Overdose Intervention with Naloxone.
