The College of Pharmacy at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth (HSC) offers awards and scholarships for incoming and current students. The college acknowledges the exceptional efforts and achievements of its students through a variety of awards and scholarships created in collaboration with sponsors and professional associations.

Academic Achievement Awards for Current Applicants
We’re offering academic awards and savings for candidates applying to enter pharmacy school in Fall 2024.
- Applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or higher are eligible for a $15,000 Academic Achievement Award.
- APPLY EARLY to take advantage of this opportunity.
- Additionally, upon acceptance into the program, the $500 deposit to hold a seat will be waived.

Pharmacy and University Scholarships (Incoming and/or Current Students)
Scholarships are available to pharmacy students meeting good Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) at HSCCP and relevant criteria as defined by the donor of the award. The following scholarship award applications and deadlines for completion will be available through https://unthsc.academicworks.com/opportunities.
Cecil Fuselier College of Pharmacy Scholarship: $500
A monetary award to a 2nd year pharmacy (P2) student within the first quartile of his or her class, demonstrates financial need with preference given to candidates with dependent children and further preference to those with military service or the spouse, dependent or widow/widower of a military serviceman or woman and is seeking a career as an academic-based, clinical researcher.
College of Pharmacy Outstanding Graduate Endowed Pharmacy Scholarship: $1,200
A monetary award to a 4th year pharmacy student who demonstrates sustained leadership over the duration of their pharmacy school career as demonstrated by community service, student governances, or professional advocacy.
CVS Health Foundation Scholarship: $1,000
A monetary award to a pharmacy student who has completed at least one semester of professional pharmacy school, is in good academic standing, is bilingual and is interested in a career in community pharmacy practice.
Daniel Family Pharmacy Scholarship: award amount established annually
A monetary award to a pharmacy student meeting minimum entrance requirement and continuing academic performance standards (GPA > 2.5).
Division of Student Affairs (University) Scholarship: $1,000
A monetary award open to all pharmacy students who meet satisfactory academic progress and maintain good academic standing.
Elaine and Myron Jacobson Scholarship: $1,000
A monetary award to a pharmacy student that maintains full-time enrollment, meets minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of HSC and the HSCCP, and who consistently embodies the ideals of caring and providing exceptional professional service to the community. Essay Required: Describes how the student embodies the ideals of caring and of providing exceptional professional service to the community
Florence and Lester Tom Lee Endowed Pharmacy Scholarship: $1,000
A monetary award to a full-time pharmacy student who exhibits academic excellence by achieving a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA in undergraduate work and maintains a 3.2 GPA as a student at HSCCP. This student also consistently embodies the ideals of caring and of providing exception professional service to the community.
Levine Scholarship (University): $1,000 for 4 years
A monetary award open to incoming pharmacy students who are enrolled full-time at HSCCP and meet satisfactory academic progress/be in good academic standing.
Paul M. Perrone Pharmacy Scholarship: $1,000
A monetary award to a pharmacy student enrolled full-time at HSCCP who is in good academic standing, achieves a GPA > 2.5 and embodies the ideas of caring and of providing exception professional service to the community.
Ron Jencopale/Tarrant County Pharmacy Association Endowed Scholarship: $1,000
A monetary award to a pharmacy student achieving a GPA > 2.5, is a lifelong resident of Tarrant County, or Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, or is a current resident of Tarrant County that demonstrates a passion for the profession and providing exceptional professional service to the Tarrant County community.
Texas Pharmacy Foundation Scholarship: $1,000
Monetary awards for 2nd year to 4th year pharmacy students (as designated in the previous Fall semester) who are members of the Texas Pharmacy Association (TPA) and demonstrates financial need and potential to become a leader for Texas pharmacy.

Vaughn Construction Community Foundation Endowed Pharmacy Scholarship: $1,500
A monetary award open to all pharmacy students meeting minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of HSC and the HSCCP who consistently embodies the ideals of caring and of providing exceptional professional service to the community.
Pharmacy and University Scholarships Awarding Process:
- Scholarships are reviewed and awarded by the HSCCP Student Scholarship Committee and may not be combined with other awards received within the academic year.
- Students are considered for scholarships based on the defined criteria for the respective scholarship. See each scholarship application for more details.
- Scholarship eligibility does not guarantee receipt of scholarship.
