I received my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the UNT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy in Fort Worth, Texas in 2018. Upon graduating, I completed a PGY1/PGY2 pharmacotherapy residency at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy in San Antonio, Texas where I focused my time in internal medicine and academia. In the fall of 2020, I returned to Fort Worth and my alma mater to join the Pharmacotherapy Department at HSC College of Pharmacy.
Teaching Areas and Interests:
I am currently serving as co-coordinator for the Integrated Pharmacotherapy Critical Care course where I will also be teaching in the Spring 2021 semester. My general interests include inpatient management of diabetes, chronic kidney disease, as well as cardiovascular diseases such as ACS and heart failure. I am also interested in management of psychiatric disorders such as anxiety and depression.
My teaching experience throughout residency included both didactic lectures in core pharmacotherapy courses as well as small group lectures in elective courses. I also have experience in team-based learning, flipped classroom as well as coordinating OSCEs and labs.

I am currently practicing as an internal medicine clinical pharmacist at Medical City Arlington where I provide medication related recommendations during interprofessional medicine rounds and instruct GME medical residents on medication related issues. I am also a member of the Medical City Arlington Residency Advisory Counsel. At the HSC College of Pharmacy, I am involved in committee work along with helping the student chapter of Phi Delta Chi in coordination with the faculty advisor.
