College of Pharmacy celebrates 10th anniversary and pharmacy heroes

HSC College of Pharmacy matriculated its first class in August 2013, and throughout the 2023-24 academic year, the college is celebrating the 10th anniversary of this milestone.
Students kicked off the celebration by posing for a photo in the formation of a “10” and capturing this moment in time with a time capsule that will be sealed until 2038, the college’s 25th anniversary.
Students wrote inspiring messages to future cohorts on the box and on tiny scrolls placed in miniature capsules and shared words of encouragement to future student leaders.
Alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the college gathered to reconnect and celebrate the milestone at Second Rodeo Brewing in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.
Donations from the 10th anniversary event support the Student Travel Fund, which helps defray costs for student development travel.
