Message from the Dean
I am very pleased to welcome you to the College of Public Health at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth (HSC)! It is my privilege to serve as Dean of this transformative institution at a critical time for global public health.
Since our founding in 1999, the College of Public Health (SPH) has focused on eliminating health inequities and improving the quality and conditions of life by providing critically needed public health education and research for our communities in North Texas and beyond. We are a values-driven organization with a deep commitment to diversity, integrity, respect and serving others first.
In addition to our exceptional programs of study, our students receive hands-on, high-impact learning opportunities and gain real-world practice experiences in public health and health administration. And the strong professional relationships and international networks that our students establish during their education play a significant role in their success and continue after graduation.
Please come join us in our mission and work with us to make a difference in the lives of all the people we serve. Whether you are a local or international student, an engaged alumni, community or research partner, interprofessional collaborator, or CPH friend and supporter, you are always welcome here!
