WHY DID YOU CHOOSE UNTHSC SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH?
After attending a large public university for my undergraduate program, I wanted to transition into a more tight-knit school with the opportunity to hone my studies and form meaningful relationships. As someone passionate about contributing to the efficient delivery of high-quality healthcare services, I also found immense value in an MHA program founded within a College of Public Health and on a campus of strictly healthcare professionals. Beyond the classroom setting, HSC provides ample opportunity for interprofessional collaboration, networking, and community involvement. Plus… who doesn’t love Fort Worth?

HOW DO YOU PLAN ON APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE YOU GAIN TO YOUR FUTURE CAREER?
Our curriculum is designed to drive the development of skills pivotal to innovation and efficiency in healthcare delivery. This includes organizational leadership, collaboration, process improvement, as well as operations, data and project management. With these skills, I hope to serve as a progressive and impactful leader within a patient-centric healthcare organization. It is an ever-changing and exciting industry and I am committed to life-long learning!
