Sexual and Gender Minority Health
Sexual and gender minorities include but are not limited to people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, transgender, Two-Spirit, queer, intersex and non-binary. Research on this area focuses on the physiological consequences of social stressors, sexual health, substance use, risk for communicable disease across the life course, and social and political determinants of health.
