The College of Public Health (SPH) at the UNT Health Science Center, Fort Worth, (UNTHSC), has named Matt Nolan Adrignola, EdD, MBA, as Associate Dean for Administration and Student Services, a new position for the school.
In this new role, he will direct the school’s admissions and student services processes from recruitment to enrollment, graduation and beyond, as well as manage CPH funding resources and grant contract activities.
Adrignola will also serve as assistant professor in the Department of Public Health Education.
He joins UNTHSC from Webster University in St. Louis, where he spent the last nine years, first as director of graduate and evening student admissions and most recently as associate vice president of enrollment management and dean of admissions, over the school’s graduate and undergraduate programs both online and at more than 100 campus locations within the U.S., Europe and Asia.
The move to UNTHSC brings Adrignola back to public health education, as his position prior to Webster spanned nine years as assistant dean for business and finance in the College of Public Health at Saint Louis University.
“Matt’s experience enables him to understand the unique educational opportunities that today’s public health students are seeking, and he brings the global view that is so important in today’s world,” notes Richard S. Kurz, PhD, dean of the UNTHSC College of Public Health.
