UNTHSC in the News

UNTHSC made news in Ft. Myers, Fla., several times this week on WINK-TV as part of a series on found remains. Dr. Arthur Eisenberg (right) at the Center for Human Identification is handling the DNA analysis, and the WINK news crew spent several hours filming at our lab in September.

Dr. Ralph Anderson is quoted in the Texas Observer on the increase in obstetricians and support of Proposition 12. And Dr. Brian Gladue provides insight into a politician’s motivation associated with sex scandals in articles from the Seattle area.

The Star-Telegram’s obituary of Dr. Jerry McGill notes that he was a member of the Health Review Board of UNTHSC, and memorials may be directed to the Health Science Center, as well as other organizations.

Watch America’s Most Wanted this month for a profile of the UNT Health Science Center’s Center for Human Identification. The national program appears on Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. on FOX.
