Debates and Directions: 3rd Annual Health Disparities Conference

The 3rd Annual Health Disparities Conference on May 29-31 will bring together highly regarded experts from various field to focus on solutions for eliminating health disparities.

Keynote speaker Freeman A. Hrabowski, III, president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County will discuss minority participation in the fields of science and math education at the opening event at Will Rogers Auditorium.  Special guest speakers include Dr. Francis Butterfoss, Dr. Jay Kaufman, Megan Thomas, Anne Dunkleberg, Dr. Robert Mayberry and Dr. Alyce Adams.  These discussions will take place in Luibel Auditorium at the UNT Health Science Center.

The conference is funded by a grant for Excellence in Partnerships for Community Outreach and Research on Disparities in Health and Training (EXPORT) and envisions an America in which all populations can live long, healthy and productive lives.
