Felini Joins University of North Texas Health Science Center
Martha Felini, PhD, DC, MPH, joined UNT Health Science Center as assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology.
Prior to joining the health science center, Dr. Felini served as a coding analyst for University of California at San Franciscoâ??s Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She also served as a teaching assistant at University of North Carolinaâ??s School of Public Health and a chiropractor in Westfield, In.
Dr. Felini earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Purdue University in Indianapolis, Ind., a Master of Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics from Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center in College Station, a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in epidemiology from University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C. Her research focuses on susceptibility genes and environmental exposures in relation to cancer, specifically brain cancer.
She is originally from Newburg, N.D., and currently resides in Frisco with her husband, Louis.
