Koulen named Health Care Hero

Peter Koulen, PhD, professor, Department of Pharmacology and Neuroscience, was named a Healthcare Hero by the Dallas Business Journal for his research into Alzheimer’s disease treatments.

"In my opinion, Alzheimer’s is one of the last frontiers in biomedicine that we need to tackle," Dr. Koulen said in the article.

Healthcare Hero honorees were chosen from among nominations solicited through the publications print and online outlets by a board of Dallas Business Journal editors.
