Neurobiology of Aging Trainee Symposium scheduled for April 15
UNT Health Science Center will host the Neurobiology of Aging Training Symposium on April 15 from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Everett Hall. W. Sue T. Griffin, PhD, professor and vice chairman of research for the University of Arkansas College of Medicine’s Donald W. Reynolds Department of Geriatrics and the Department of Neurobiology and Development Sciences, will be the keynote speaker. She will discuss "IL-1 as a driver of Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis."
The symposium includes presentations by Neurobiology of Aging trainees from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Griffin’s keynote address from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and an awards ceremony at 2:30 p.m.
