North Texas Eye Research Institute hosts vision seminar at UNTHSC

The UNT Health Science Center’s North Texas Eye Research Institute will partner with the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services and other vision experts to host a seminar for people over 55 with vision problems and their families on Aug. 28.

The seminar, titled "Living Well and Independently with Vision Loss," will provide information and resources from health care and vision professionals, social workers, and people impacted by vision loss.

The seminar will be held from 9:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Medical Education Training building. A complimentary lunch will be provided. For updates about seminar activities or to register go to www.afb.org/CVL/seminar.

The North Texas Eye Research Institute is one of the Health Science Center’s Health Institutes of Texas. It is dedicated to preserving vision and curing eye disease through promotion of interdisciplinary research teams.
