Science Exposition in Research Vocation and Education Feb. 7

 

Students from the Graduate School of Biomedical Science will host an open house for the public, as well as a science fair in conjunction with area high schools, sponsored by the Science Exposition in Research Vocation and Education on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon.  Tours of the forensic genetics facility, medical simulation mannequin, the anatomy lab and other research laboratories on campus will be conducted by the student researchers.

Pizza and a panel discussion will be conducted at 11 a.m. in the Atrium of the EAD.  Students from Arlington Heights High School are scheduled to participate in the science fair with judging at 10 a.m.  

Students from junior high through undergraduate study, as well as the general public, are encouraged to attend to learn more about the research being conducted at the UNT Health Science Center and new science discoveries here in Fort Worth.
