Yearwood’s appearance at Legends in Fort Worth is one of the stops on her national “Every Girl” tour. It will be her only show in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
In addition to her 12 studio albums, Yearwood hosts the Emmy award-winning Food Network hit Trisha’s Southern Kitchen and Facebook Live’s “pre-show,” T’s Coffee Talk.
At the forefront of a veritable lifestyle empire, she penned three New York Times-bestselling cookbooks and has designed cookware, furniture, home accessories and area rugs. Trisha also has collaborated with Williams Sonoma on a series of best-selling cocktail mixes and food products.
Later this year, she plans to release her first solo country album in 12 years.
The record’s lead single, “Every Girl in This Town,” was released on June 6 and scored her best career debut at 21 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.
Earlier this year, she came out with her first solo full-length album since 2007, a collection of Frank Sinatra covers and one original entitled Let’s Be Frank.
“My favorite thing is to go in the studio and make a song mine,” she said. “As much as I love all of the other things I get to do in my life, being in the studio and finding all of these songs feeds my soul.”
She’s looking forward to her appearance as this year’s Legends’ star.
“The biggest compliment is when someone adores my show and feels like we can be friends,” she said. “I want people to leave feeling like they got to know me better.”
