UNT Health Science Center to close at 3 pm today

UNT Health Science Center and all UNT Health clinics will close at 3 pm today due to inclement weather.

There are several ways to determine if UNTHSC will be closed for inclement weather tomorrow morning:

1) Call our main phone number – (817) 735-2000. This is the first and most authoritative source for weather closure information. If the Health Science Center does close for inclement weather, a special recording will play when you call the main number and will remain on that line until the decision to reopen has been made.

2) Visit our Web site – http://www.hsc.unt.edu. After the decision to close for bad weather has been made, a notice on our main Web site will note the date and time of closure. The notice will remain on the main Web page until the campus is reopened.

3) Watch local TV and listen to local radio. All four major local television channels – NBC 5, ABC 8, CBS 11, and FOX 4 – are notified when we close for inclement weather. If we do close, our information will be included with the school, government and other closure announcements. Local radio stations WBAP (820 AM), KRLD (1080 AM) and KVIL (103.7 FM) also are notified of Health Science Center closures.

Please do not call the campus police for closure information. The police department should be called in emergency situations only. Health Science Center departments may develop their own phone tree to spread the word within departments.
