UNTHSC bike team raises $48K for MS

The UNTHSC Health’s Angels bicycle team recently participated in an annual rally to fight multiple sclerosis. The team has raised $48,000 this year in the fight against MS, nearing its annual donation goal of $50,000.

The 150-mile BIKE MS: Round-up Rideride is the local component of an event sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to fund research and help MS patients and their families. Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price rode with the UNTHSC team.

The team included providers from UNTHSC, Cook Children’s Medical Center, JPS Health Network, University of North Texas and Radiology Associates.

Health’s Angels team captains are Darrin D’Agostino, DO, MPH, Clinical Chair of Internal Medicine, and David Baker, UNTHSC Business Systems Analysis Manager.
