Summer Research Program (SRP)

The 2024 SRP will take place June 3 – August 2, 2024.

Applications for the 2024 SRP will open November 13, 2023.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate junior or senior; first-year medical student; graduate-school student.
• Interested in pursuing a career in biomedical research.

Objectives

• Network with student cohort, NTERI trainees and leaders.
• Receive training in the techniques necessary to conduct research activities.
• Daily interactions with others at the lab or project site, and participation in formal meeting to discuss research problems and work progress.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Complete nine weeks of research work under the guidance of an NTERI faculty member.
• Give at least one research presentation to your peers and faculty.
• Attend the Work-in-Progress Seminars.
• Attend the Journal Club Seminars.
