The Pediatric Mobile Clinic Team
The Pediatric Mobile Clinic is staffed with an experienced team of bilingual clinical professionals from UNT Health Science Center.
The interprofessional mobile unit team includes:
- Board-certified pediatrician
- Family Practice Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed vocational nurse
- Administrative assistant
- Clinical support staff
- Program Manager
- Social Worker
HSC is one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers, with more than 2,000 students and six schools that specialize in patient-centered education, research and health care. This Center includes Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. The medical students use our mobile clinic as a practicum location where they can learn how to serve and work with children. This is invaluable to their education. Some of our students will become pediatricians. Our staff is equipped and trained to work with both students and your child giving your child the best and most up to date medical care available. Also, HSC host the HSC College of Nursing, where nursing students advance their education working with children on our mobile unit.
