This summer has been a whirlwind of activity thus far and we’re just getting started!

I am pleased to share Dr. Scott Walters, Regents Professor and Chair of the Department of Health Behavior and Health Systems in our College of Public Health, has been appointed Steering Committee Chair for the landmark HEALing Communities Study (Helping to End Addiction Long-term).

I am pleased to share our recently approved HSC Faculty Policies and Bylaws. This was definitely a team effort and I am incredibly proud of the collaborative, thoughtful deliberation as well as the time, energy and effort put forth to achieve this important milestone.

Suresh Madhavan, MBA, PhD, FAPhA has accepted the role of Dean, UNT System College of Pharmacy and will be joining the UNT Health Science Center in June.
