Annesha White, PharmD
Annesha White, PharmD, MS, PhD, is Associate Dean for Assessment and Accreditation, Associate Professor at the University of North Texas, System College of Pharmacy. She educates pharmacy students on pharmacoeconomics, outcomes research, and health policy. A natural extension of her outcomes research background includes the assessment of programmatic outcomes for the college. She has worked on funded projects with the Florida Medicaid program including studies on COX-2 Inhibitors, Hepatitis C and End Stage Renal Disease. She also worked at the Government Accountability Office (the investigative arm of Congress), resulting in a publication, Federal Employees’ Health Benefits: Effects of Using Pharmacy Benefit Managers on Health Plans, Enrollees, and Pharmacies. Dr. White has published peer-reviewed articles, a textbook entitled Introduction to the Pharmacy Profession and serves on the Editorial Board for several journals. Her outcomes research and pharmacoeconomic focused projects focus on patient safety, hormonal contraceptives, pain management and enhancing college curricula to address the growing need to develop innovative ways to improve patient health outcomes.
