National Postdoc Association

UNTHSC is an affiliate of the National Postdoc Association (NPA), which allows us to access the information and materials available through the NPA.  The NPA was established with the goal of fostering necessary improvements to the postdoctoral situation in the US. There was no organization with the sole aim of achieving improvements in the postdoctoral experience. The NPA sought to crystallize the diffuse postdoc debate and provide a focal point for achieving administrative and policy changes.  NPA’s mission is to improve the postdoctoral experience by supporting a culture of inclusive connection. At the individual, organizational, and national levels, we facilitate enhanced professional growth, raise awareness, and collaborate with stakeholders in the postdoctoral community.
