The Osteopathic Research Center is pleased to announce that Brian Clark, Ph.D will present the 2024 Goldstein Lecture, entitled “Live Longer, Live Stronger” on Wednesday, October 9th at 12:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time.

Brian Clark HeadshotBrian Clark is an internationally recognized expert in aging and musculoskeletal health. He has served as principal investigator on ~$30M in research grants that has yielded nearly 200 scientific papers. His work has been cited more than 14,000 times, and he is ranked in 99.6th percentile of all scientists based on career long citation metrics.  After receiving his PhD from Syracuse University, he joined Ohio University in 2006 and was named Executive Director of the Ohio Musculoskeletal and Neurological Institute (OMNI) in 2008. His lab has made important discoveries related to changes in the nervous system and the impact those changes have on muscle health, fundamentally changing the way healthcare providers are diagnosing and treating sarcopenia, especially in older adults. He is also the co-founder and scientific director of the MedTech start-up OsteoDx Inc, which is working to improve the diagnosis of osteoporosis.
