UNTHSC TCOM preceptors devote more than 420,000 hours annually to teaching third and fourth year medical students. Preceptors model patient centered care, practice management, skills and procedures with real patients and are dedicated to UNTHSC TCOM student success. Preceptors also participate in research mentoring, skills labs and student education symposiums throughout the academic year.
