ACGME Program Number 7534800001
The FP/NMM residency is a combined four-year residency in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine designed to produce family physicians who fully integrate the osteopathic approach in diagnosis and treatment of the whole patient. In addition, special emphasis will be placed on rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, immunology, sports medicine, and orthopedics as they relate to the neuromusculoskeletal system. We teach that spiritual, emotional and mental well-being is just as important as physical health. Through application of this philosophy, residents develop as competent, confident, life-long learners who can provide high-quality comprehensive medical care for the whole person.
