Controlled Substances

The following laboratory animal drugs are controlled:

• Buprenorphine (BUPRENEX®)
• Butorphanol (STADOL®)
• Diazepam (VALIUM®)
• Euthanasia solutions
• Ketamine
• Morphine
• Pentobarbital
• Sufentanil
• Telazol

Controlled substances must be kept in a locked cabinet and forms indicating their use must be appropriately completed and filed.
